Overview

What ₹499 actually buys: an application that survives scrutiny

The outcome you are paying for is a passport application that goes through on the first attempt, instead of coming back weeks later as an objection. Most delays are self-inflicted — a name that reads differently across Aadhaar, PAN and school records, a missing annexure, a form field guessed wrong — and each one costs a slot, a fee or a month. Our service is making sure none of them is in your file before it ever reaches the Passport Seva portal.

Harsiddhi Services has run its documentation desk in Vadodara since 2017, with over 1,200 Gazette applications assisted, and that breadth is a genuine edge in passport work: when a case actually needs a Gazette name change, an affidavit or a PAN correction first, we catch it during the consultation — not after a rejection. Fresh passports, renewals, Tatkal, minors, lost or damaged booklets, and reissues for name, address or date-of-birth changes all carry the same flat ₹499 professional fee, put in writing, with the government's fee quoted as its own separate line.

Starting costs you nothing: send your documents on WhatsApp for a free check, see both fee lines, then decide. The one thing we will never sell is a promise of approval — no honest service can. What we deliver is a file prepared so the decision rests on your documents, not on paperwork mistakes.

New fees since 1 July 2026

Government passport fees were revised by the Passports (Amendment) Rules, 2026 — the first revision since 2012. Many websites still display the old amounts. The tables on this page show the revised fees; always confirm your exact fee on the official Passport Seva fee calculator before paying.

Pricing

One flat professional fee. Government fees shown separately.

Our charge for passport application assistance is ₹499, whatever the category. It covers the consultation, the document check, filling and submitting the online form, appointment booking help and guidance for your PSK visit. If your case needs additional paid work — an affidavit, notarisation, or a Gazette name change — we tell you upfront and quote it separately before starting. Full details are on our passport pricing page.

Government fees are paid by you, directly on the official portal, and never pass through us. The main categories under the revised schedule:

Fees once paid are generally not refundable, even if an application is not granted.

Process

The assisted journey, step by step

Here is how a typical assisted application runs from first message to passport in hand.

  1. ConsultationYou message or visit us. We identify your exact case — fresh, reissue, Tatkal, minor, lost — and flag anything that could cause trouble, such as a name mismatch between documents.
  2. Document checkWe compare your documents against the official requirements for your case and give you a personalised checklist, including any annexures or affidavits you need.
  3. Online applicationWe fill and submit the application on the official Passport Seva portal with you, choosing the right scheme (Normal/Tatkal) and booklet (36/60 pages), and you pay the government fee online.
  4. AppointmentWe help you book a slot at PSK Vadodara (or the POPSK nearest to your address) and prepare your file: originals plus one set of self-attested photocopies.
  5. PSK visitYou attend in person. Inside the Kendra your documents are scanned and your photo and biometrics captured (Zone A), then verified (Zone B), then a Granting Officer takes the decision (Zone C).
  6. Police verificationWhere applicable, police at your present address verify your particulars — before issue for most fresh cases, after issue for typical Tatkal and clean reissue cases.
  7. Printing and dispatchOnce granted and cleared, the passport is printed centrally and sent by India Post Speed Post. You track it on the portal and with the Speed Post number.

At every stage you deal with the official system under your own login — we sit beside the process, not between you and the government.

Why us

Form errors are the number-one reason applications go wrong

Practical guides to passport rejection keep reaching the same conclusion we see at our counter: the majority of objections trace back to the applicant's own paperwork, not to the government. The usual culprits:

  • Detail mismatches — a name spelt differently on Aadhaar and the application, a father's name that varies between records, a date of birth that disagrees with school certificates.
  • Wrong or missing documents — an address proof that is not on the accepted list, a missing Annexure D for a child, no Annexure F for a lost passport, or a reissue filed without the old passport's copies.
  • Address problems at verification — applying from an address where the police cannot find you, or where your documented stay does not match the form.
  • Suppressed information — not disclosing a previous passport or a pending court case, which can turn a routine application into a refusal under the Passports Act.

Every one of these is preventable before submission, and prevention is cheaper than cure: a lost slot or a refused application costs far more time than a careful document review. Because we also handle document mismatch corrections, affidavits and Gazette publication under one roof, we can fix the underlying problem rather than just point at it.

Since 2017 we have assisted more than 1,200 Gazette applications. We work in Gujarati, Hindi and English, we are a government-approved CSC (ID 136237240013), and you can read what clients say on our reviews page.

Honest scope

What we can and cannot do

Please read before engaging us

Harsiddhi Services provides documentation assistance, form-filling support and consultation only. Passports are issued solely by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, through Passport Seva. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of India. We cannot approve applications, influence police verification, guarantee timelines or "arrange" appointments outside the official system. Anyone promising those things is misleading you.

You also do not need us — or any agent — to get a passport. The official portal is free to use apart from the government fee, and confident applicants with clean, consistent documents can and do apply on their own. Where we earn our fee is in the checking: catching the mismatch, the missing annexure or the wrong option in the form before the system does. If your case is simple and your documents already agree with each other, we will tell you so.

Local context

PSK Vadodara — where your appointment happens

Vadodara's Passport Seva Kendra is at Aditviya Complex, Ground Floor, Behind Arpan Complex, Delux Cross Road, Opp. Era School, Nizampura, Vadodara 390002. There is no Regional Passport Office in Vadodara itself; the PSK operates under RPO Ahmedabad, which takes the final decisions on files that need RPO attention. Appointments run on working days and are booked online — confirm current slot timings on the Passport Seva portal.

If you live outside Vadodara city, Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) under RPO Ahmedabad operate at Anand, Bharuch, Godhra, Chhota Udaipur, Nadiad, Dahod and other towns, which can mean an earlier slot or a shorter drive. We help you weigh slot availability against travel when booking, and our appointment guide covers what to expect on the day.

Our office at Chhani Jakatnaka Circle is a short ride from Nizampura — many clients drop in with their documents on the way to or from the Kendra. Directions are on our office location page.

FAQs

Passport assistance — common questions

What exactly does the ₹499 fee cover?
It covers our professional assistance: a consultation on your case, checking your documents against the official requirements, filling the online application on the Passport Seva portal, helping you book the PSK appointment, and briefing you for the visit. Government fees are separate and are paid directly on the official portal.
Can Harsiddhi Services issue my passport or speed up approval?
No. Passports are issued only by the Ministry of External Affairs through Passport Seva. We have no influence over approval, police verification or dispatch. What we do is help you submit a clean, complete application, which is the part applicants most often get wrong.
What are the government passport fees in 2026?
Fees were revised with effect from 1 July 2026. An adult 36-page booklet is ₹2,500 (normal) or ₹5,000 (Tatkal); a 60-page booklet is ₹3,500 or ₹6,000. Minor and lost/damaged categories differ. Always confirm the exact amount on the official fee calculator at passportindia.gov.in before paying.
Why did passport fees change in July 2026?
The Ministry of External Affairs notified the Passports (Amendment) Rules, 2026 in June 2026, revising fees for the first time since 2012. The new fees apply to applications submitted on or after 1 July 2026. Many websites still show the old amounts, so rely on the official fee calculator.
Where is the Passport Seva Kendra in Vadodara?
PSK Vadodara is at Aditviya Complex, Ground Floor, Behind Arpan Complex, Delux Cross Road, Opp. Era School, Nizampura, Vadodara 390002. It works under the Regional Passport Office, Ahmedabad. Appointment slots are booked online on the Passport Seva portal.
Do I have to visit the PSK in person?
Yes. Every applicant, including children, must appear in person at the PSK or POPSK for photo capture, biometrics and document verification. There is no fully online route. We prepare you so the visit itself goes smoothly.
How long does a passport take?
There is no fixed statutory time. Indicatively: normal applications without pre-police verification are commonly dispatched in about 7–10 working days after the appointment; cases needing prior police verification can take two weeks to 45 days; Tatkal is typically dispatched in about 1–3 working days after a successful appointment. Speed Post delivery adds roughly 3–7 working days.
What is the most common reason passport applications get stuck?
Mismatched details across documents — name, date of birth or spellings differing between Aadhaar, PAN, school records and the application form. Incomplete annexures and wrong document choices are close behind. Fixing these before applying is the core of what we do.
My name is different on Aadhaar and my other documents. Can I still apply?
A mismatch usually needs to be resolved first, either by correcting the document or, for genuine name changes, through a Gazette notification and supporting affidavits. We assess which route fits your case and assist with Aadhaar/PAN corrections and Gazette publication through our centre.
Do you help with police verification?
We explain what to expect and help you keep address proofs consistent so verification goes smoothly, but the verification itself is done entirely by the police. Nobody can legitimately influence or skip it.
Can you help if my passport is lost or damaged?
Yes. Lost or damaged passports are replaced through a reissue in a higher fee category, and a lost passport also needs a police report and an Annexure F affidavit. We assist with the paperwork, the affidavit and the online application.
Do you handle passports for children?
Yes. Minor applications have their own rules — parental consent through Annexure D (or Annexure C where both parents cannot sign), address proof in the parent's name and shorter validity. See our minor passport page for the full picture.
What should I bring to the PSK appointment?
All original documents plus one set of self-attested photocopies, and your appointment confirmation with the Application Reference Number (ARN). We give you a personalised checklist before your visit so nothing is missing.
Is the government fee refundable if my application is rejected?
As per long-standing Passport Seva practice, fees once paid are not refunded even if the application is not granted — confirm the current policy on the official portal. This is another reason to get the application right the first time.
Do you charge anything beyond ₹499?
₹499 is our professional fee for passport application assistance. Government fees are always separate and you pay them directly on the official portal. If your case needs extra services — say an affidavit, notarisation or a Gazette name change — we quote those separately before any work begins.
Can I apply from outside Vadodara?
Yes. The online preparation — consultation, document review and form filling — works over WhatsApp and phone wherever you are in Gujarat. Your PSK/POPSK appointment is booked under the RPO for your present address.
