Class 3 digital signature, typically ready within 24 hours
The tender closes, the MCA form waits, the return is due — and none of it moves without a Class 3 signature. We typically put a working DSC in your hand within about 24 hours: Aadhaar eKYC, a short video from your phone, certificate on a USB token, drivers installed, renewal reminder set. Issued only through CCA-licensed Certifying Authorities; the paperwork and follow-up are ours, the signing is yours.
Typical reply within minutes during office hours.
What ₹0 gets you right now
A free eligibility check and an exact written quote — our fee and government fee shown separately. You decide after you see the numbers.
No pressure follow-ups. No commitments. Just clarity.
A legal signing identity, working on your machine — usually within a day
When a tender portal or the MCA site demands a DSC, what you need is not a cryptography lesson — it is a valid Class 3 certificate installed and signing before your deadline. That finished state is what we sell: application, eKYC, verification video, token download and portal setup completed at one desk, typically within about 24 hours, by a centre that has handled compliance documentation in Vadodara since 2017.
The certificate itself is serious legal machinery. It is issued under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and only by Certifying Authorities licensed and supervised by the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) — the current list is published at cca.gov.in, and anyone selling certificates outside that system is selling nothing. A DSC-signed filing on the MCA or income tax portal is authenticated as yours and cannot later be denied. The strict checks that make it trustworthy — Aadhaar or PAN eKYC, OTPs on your own mobile and email, a short live video — are precisely the steps first-time applicants stumble on, and precisely the steps we sit through with you.
Harsiddhi Services is a facilitation centre, not a Certifying Authority: every certificate comes from the licensed system, and every quote — certificate, token and our assistance together — reaches you in writing before any work starts. One message on WhatsApp is enough to get it, and when renewal or a driver problem surfaces later, you come back to the same counter.
Class 3 is the only DSC issued today — ignore "Class 2" references
If you remember buying a "Class 2" DSC years ago, that product no longer exists. Since 1 January 2021, Class 3 — the highest assurance level — is the only class issued to new applicants, after the CCA directed that Class 2 issuance be withdrawn. Every certificate we arrange is Class 3, whatever portal it is destined for.
Confusion persists because government help pages and old tender documents were written before the change. The GST manual, for instance, still mentions "Class 2 or Class 3", and some EPFO instructions do the same. Read any such reference as "Class 3": previously issued Class 2 certificates simply remained usable until they expired, and the documentation was never rewritten. You cannot buy a Class 2 certificate today, and you do not need to — Class 3 satisfies every requirement that ever asked for Class 2.
For a plain-language breakdown of assurance levels, certificate types and when a DSC is legally required, see our dedicated Class 3 DSC page or the explainer What is a Class 3 DSC? in the knowledge centre.
Individual or organization — the first question we will ask you
Class 3 certificates come in two holder types, and choosing wrongly is the single most common DSC purchasing mistake:
- Individual DSC — issued in your own name. This is what directors use for MCA filings, what proprietors and authorised signatories use on the GST portal, what taxpayers under audit use to sign income tax returns, and what CA/CS/CMA professionals use to certify forms. Fully paperless via Aadhaar eKYC.
- Organization DSC — issued to a person as an authorised signatory of an organization, with the organization's name embedded in the certificate. This is what e-procurement portals expect for tenders, what DGFT requires for non-proprietor entities, and what customs brokers and exporters use on ICEGATE. It needs organizational documents and takes a little longer.
There is a second axis: signature-only versus signature-plus-encryption ("combo") certificates. Routine filing portals need only a signing certificate; tender portals generally need the combo, because bids are encrypted as well as signed. We cover this in detail on the Class 3 page and the tender DSC page — in practice, you tell us where you need to sign, and we confirm the exact certificate in one WhatsApp message.
Where a DSC is needed — pick your portal
One, two or three years — how to choose
Licensed CAs issue Class 3 certificates with 1-year, 2-year or 3-year validity; three years is the longest commonly offered. The trade-off is simple:
- 1 year — lowest upfront cost. Sensible for a one-off need such as a single tender, or if the entity itself may close or restructure within the year.
- 2 years — the most popular choice for MCA, GST and income tax users. A reasonable balance of cost and renewal frequency.
- 3 years — cheapest per year and only one renewal cycle every three years. Our usual recommendation for anyone with ongoing filings, because every renewal means fresh eKYC, a fresh video and re-registering the DSC on each portal you use.
Remember that renewal is not an extension — it is a fresh certificate with the full verification repeated (see DSC renewal). The fewer times you go through that cycle, the fewer chances for an expired certificate to stall a filing deadline. Whichever validity you pick, we log the expiry date and remind you before it arrives.
The 24-hour paperless process, step by step
For an individual Class 3 DSC via Aadhaar eKYC — the route most applicants qualify for — there is no printing, no courier of documents and no visit to any office. Here is the whole journey:
- Share your details on WhatsApp. Tell us where you need to sign (MCA, GST, tender portal, and so on), and share your PAN and Aadhaar-linked mobile number. We confirm the right certificate type and validity, and give you one fixed quote covering certificate, token and our service — before you pay.
- Complete eKYC and the short video. You receive OTPs on your Aadhaar-linked mobile, your own mobile and your email, then record a live video of about 20 seconds on your phone, reading out the codes shown on screen. The CCA's guidelines require this to be live and interactive — we stay on the line and walk you through it in one take.
- Certifying Authority verifies and approves. The licensed CA checks the eKYC data and video. For paperless individual applications this approval typically comes the same day; the certificate is then generated.
- Certificate downloaded to your USB token. The DSC is downloaded onto a FIPS-validated USB token — a new one we supply, or your existing supported token. Vadodara clients can collect from our Chhani Jakatnaka office; everyone else gets the configured token by courier, with drivers installed remotely if needed.
End to end, an individual paperless DSC is typically in your hands within 24 hours of completing video verification. Organization DSCs add a manual document-verification step at the CA and usually take one to three working days. These are typical timelines, not promises — final approval always rests with the Certifying Authority.
No Aadhaar, or Aadhaar not linked to your current mobile? The PAN-based route (PAN plus address-proof upload) and other verification modes permitted under the CCA guidelines are available — slightly more paperwork, same certificate.
The USB token, in one paragraph
Your certificate does not live on your computer — CCA security requirements mandate that the Class 3 private key be generated and kept inside a FIPS-validated hardware token (common models: ePass2003, ProxKey), protected by a PIN, from which it can never be copied out. That is why every DSC purchase involves a small USB device, and why "just email me the certificate file" is not a thing anyone legitimate can do. One token can hold more than one certificate, and your old token can usually be reused at renewal. The full story — how the download works, token care, PIN lockouts, driver installation — is on our USB token page.
Why buy your DSC through us rather than a random online form
A DSC is cheap to sell and easy to sell badly. The price-comparison sites will happily take your money and leave you alone with a token that Windows cannot see and a portal that rejects your signature. What we sell is the certificate working:
- Right certificate, first time. We confirm holder type, sign/encrypt combination and validity against the portal you actually need — before quoting.
- One fixed quote on WhatsApp before you pay. Certificate, USB token, courier and our service in one number. No surprise "token extra" at the end.
- Guided video verification. The 20-second live video fails surprisingly often when attempted alone. We stay with you on the call so it passes in one take.
- Installation support included. Token drivers, emSigner/emBridge utilities and portal registration on MCA, GST or income tax — handled remotely, or across the desk at our Vadodara office. See installation help.
- Renewal reminders. Expiry dates go into our compliance calendar; you hear from us before your certificate dies mid-deadline, not after.
- A real office to walk into. 1st Floor, K-117, Hare Krishna Complex, Chhani Jakatnaka Circle, Vadodara — since 2017. If anything ever misbehaves, you know where we are.
When you do NOT need a DSC. Plenty of e-filings work without one. Individuals verify income tax returns with Aadhaar OTP or net-banking EVC; proprietors and most partnerships can sign GST filings with EVC; many documents can be signed with Aadhaar eSign. A DSC becomes necessary mainly for companies and LLPs, tax-audit cases, tenders, DGFT and customs work, and MCA filings. If an OTP flow covers your situation, we will tell you so and you keep your money — the difference is explained in DSC vs eSign. And to repeat the important disclosure: we are a facilitator, not a Certifying Authority, and issuance decisions rest with the licensed CA.
The bottom line
Every week we meet people who lost a month to a small avoidable mistake. The fee we charge exists to make sure you are not one of them. One message, a fixed written quote, and your paperwork moves.
